Pride Bank has unveiled the Pride Bridge Finance Facility, a financing solution designed to help private schools manage cash flow challenges, maintain uninterrupted operations, and invest in sustainable growth.
The facility comes at a time when many private schools face temporary liquidity gaps, with operational expenses such as staff salaries and utility bills falling due before school fees are fully collected. The Pride Bridge Finance Facility was developed to bridge that gap, providing schools with timely access to working capital so they can continue delivering quality education without disruption.
“Schools should be able to focus on delivering quality education, not navigating temporary cash flow gaps,” said Timothy Asingya, Relationship Manager for SMEs at Pride Bank. “This facility provides the support institutions need to continue operating smoothly while planning confidently for growth.”
Private schools remain one of the most important pillars of Uganda’s education sector, educating millions of learners and creating opportunities for communities across the country. Through the Pride Bridge Finance Facility, Pride Bank is delivering a solution tailored to the realities of school operations, ensuring institutions can access the financial support they need when they need it most.
“We are providing a solution that responds to the realities of how schools operate,” said Joseph Lwanga, Manager for Agribusiness & Green Finance at Pride Bank. “Helping them manage cash flow effectively while continuing to invest in their growth and future.”
Designed to support everything from staff salaries and utility bills to learning materials, equipment, and infrastructure development, the facility gives schools the flexibility to meet both immediate and long-term needs.
The solution is further strengthened by School Pay, Pride Bank’s digital school fees collection platform, which helps schools improve efficiency, accountability, and financial planning.
“When combined with School Pay and our broader suite of education-focused solutions, schools gain the tools they need to strengthen their financial foundation and support long-term success,” said Yusuf Kalumba, Manager for Distribution Channels at Pride Bank.
Today’s launch reflects Pride Bank’s continued commitment to developing practical, customer-centred solutions that address the unique needs of Uganda’s key sectors. By supporting schools with financing, digital collections, and value-added banking services, the bank is helping create stronger institutions that are better equipped to serve learners and communities for generations to come.
