HiPipo CEO Innocent Kawooya has challenged individuals seeking to build wealth to become problem solvers, identify opportunities in everyday challenges, think beyond their current income and turn ideas into action.
Innocent shared the insights on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, during his weekly financial literacy TikTok Live session, as he continued the “1,000 Ways to Build Wealth” series.
The latest session covered Ways 15 to 20, building on earlier lessons focused on developing the mindset, skills and habits needed for long-term wealth creation.
The weekly financial literacy sessions take place every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. EAT on the official HiPipo TikTok account, in partnership with HiPipo University.
Become a Problem Solver
Way 15 in the 1,000 Ways to Build Wealth is Become a Problem Solver.
Innocent argued that people and organisations are willing to pay for solutions to genuine problems, making problem-solving an important skill for anyone seeking to create wealth.
He encouraged individuals to train themselves to identify challenges around them and develop practical solutions rather than always depending on others to solve their problems.
“If you do not wake up and decide to become a problem solver, then you are always going to pay people who solve your problems,” he said.
Look for Opportunities in Problems
Way 16 encourages people to Look for Opportunities in Problems.
Innocent explained that many businesses are created because someone identifies a problem and develops a service or product to address it.
Using funeral services as an example, he noted that although death is a painful experience, it creates various needs, including funeral arrangements, printing, flowers and other services.
He encouraged people to pay attention to complaints, delays, inconvenience, high costs and poor services, saying these often reveal opportunities for new businesses and solutions.
The key question, he challenged viewers, is: What problems exist around you, and what solution can you create?

Think Beyond Your Current Income
Way 17 is Think Beyond Your Current Income.
Innocent cautioned against allowing one’s current salary, business income or financial challenges to define their lifetime earning potential.
He encouraged people to explore scalable opportunities that can increase their income over time, emphasising that current earnings should not become a ceiling for future financial growth.
Start With What You Have
For Way 18, Innocent urged people to Start With What You Have.
He encouraged individuals to make use of their existing knowledge, skills, time, relationships and resources instead of waiting for perfect conditions.
According to Innocent, there will never be perfect conditions for everyone, and waiting for everything to fall into place can prevent people from making progress.
He further explained that the 1,000 Ways to Build Wealth series recognises that there is no single solution to everyone’s financial challenges. Instead, people should try different approaches consistently and identify what works for them.
Start Before You Feel Completely Ready
Way 19 is Start Before You Feel Completely Ready.
Innocent encouraged people with business ideas, projects and ambitions to take action even when they do not feel fully prepared.
Rather than waiting for complete certainty, he urged people to start, learn from the experience, make adjustments and improve along the way.
Turn Ideas Into Action
The 20th Way is Turn Ideas Into Action.
Innocent encouraged people to move beyond simply having ideas and take the first practical step towards implementing them.
For someone with an idea for a book, for example, that first step could be putting the idea on paper and gradually developing it. The same applies to business and other ventures.
He emphasised that ideas become meaningful when people take action and continuously develop them.
Building Wealth Through Action
The latest six Ways reinforce the broader message of the 1,000 Ways to Build Wealth series: wealth creation requires action, adaptability and the ability to identify and solve problems.
From becoming a problem solver and finding opportunities in challenges to using available resources, thinking beyond current income and turning ideas into action, Innocent’s latest lessons encourage individuals to take a more proactive approach to building their financial future.
The “1,000 Ways to Build Wealth” financial literacy TikTok Live sessions continue every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. EAT on HiPipo’s official TikTok account, in partnership with HiPipo University.
